New restaurant in the neighborhood with both Nepalese and western food. I love how they also have full bar and can dine at the bar as well. Good service, good food.

good service food really I recently visited 7 Peaks Restaurant & Bar, and the food was amazing! The momo was fresh, juicy, and full of flavor — just like back home in Nepal. The chow mein was perfectly cooked, not too oily, with great spices and vegetables. The restaurant is very clean, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. They also have a bar and plenty of parking, which is a big plus. If you love Nepali or Indian food, this is one of the best places in the Bay Area. Highly recommend trying the chili momo, chicken sekua, and Nepali thali!

Lovely service!! very patient we went to dine in as a big group and they were able to accommodate us beautifully with delicious food; some of us were vegetarian which wasn’t a worry at all because they had a variety, I recommend everyone to give 7 peaks a chance!

If you’re craving real Nepali flavor, this place is hands down the best in the Bay Area! Every dish feels like a warm reminder of home. The wild boar cooked in true Nepali style is packed with rich, earthy spices – just like we get back in the hills. The Chowin is perfectly seasoned with that smoky, street-style wok flavor that’s impossible to find anywhere else. And let’s talk about the momos – absolutely amazing! Juicy fillets, full of flavor, wrapped in soft dough and served with authentic achar. You won’t find better momos anywhere around. Every bite took me straight back to Nepal. If you’re Nepali or just someone looking to experience real Himalayan cuisine, this is the spot. Highly recommend it! ????????

Full bar, a good beer selection, and a great atmosphere. There are tables/booths if you want to hang out with your own crowd, or bar seating if you'd like to be social. The bartender and owner are great and will provide conversation if there's not a crowd, but most of the time there are plenty of interesting people at the bar. If you're looking for a place to hang out and watch the game, there are several TVs tuned to sports and plenty of great appetizers and drinks. But what really stands out about 7 Peaks is the food. Here in the Bay area there's a lot of diversity in restaurants and all types of different food are available. I thought I'd already tried most of it, but 7 Peaks is still surprising me. So far I've had five Nepalese dishes that are completely different than anything else I've had before, and I haven't even worked my way all the way through the menu yet. If you want to bring someone who's a little bit less adventurous, you're in luck. They still have the menu from the restaurant's previous incarnation, Up and Under Second Pitch, which I would describe as comfort food. I'm very happy to have this new addition to the neighborhood. If you live in El sobrante, or nearby in San Pablo or Richmond, you should definitely give this restaurant a try.

Nestled in the heart of El Sobrante, 7 PEAKS RESTAURANT AND BAR stands out as a vibrant culinary gem blending authentic Nepalese flavors with Western classics. From the moment you step inside, the warm atmosphere welcomes you, complemented by attentive, friendly staff who make every visit memorable.

The true highlight here is the rich, flavorful Nepalese cuisine that brings a genuine taste of the Himalayas to the Bay Area. Their momos—a signature dish—are tender and juicy, bursting with traditional spices and accompanied by an authentic achar that elevates the experience. The chili momos and chicken sekua offer bold, earthy warmth, reminding diners of home-cooked meals from Nepal’s hills. Alongside these, dishes like perfectly cooked chow mein showcase balanced spices and fresh vegetables, avoiding the greasy heaviness often found elsewhere.

Beyond the food, 7 PEAKS impresses with its full bar, inviting you to enjoy hand-crafted cocktails or unwind during their celebrated happy hour. The space allows for dining right at the bar or in comfortable seating, catering well to groups and solo guests alike. Vegetarians will find a variety of thoughtfully prepared options, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied.

Cleanliness, ample parking, and the fusion of Nepalese and Western flavors make 7 PEAKS a top choice for both locals and visitors seeking authenticity and innovation.
